Make Your Wish Come True!

One day, on a late fall afternoon, I realized that I had hundreds of pictures stuffed in boxes all over the house. I came to this revelation because one of my kids was asked to bring pictures of their family to class so that they could work on a family tree project. This sounds like a simple request, but it took me hours to find the right pictures. This incident eventually led to the web site you are visiting today - The Scrapbook Fairy.

I spent the next six months going through ever picture we had, putting them in groups; color, black and white, friends, family, places and trips. After that was done, I made my first trip to the local big box craft store and bought my first supplies. I haven't stopped "collecting" since that trip. I have the latest tools, products, and frequently attend seminars on design and scrapbooking techniques.

The pages that I originally started making for myself grew into requests from my friends, gifts for others during the holidays, and then onto eBay. Over the last four years I have sold hundreds of scrapbook pages and layouts. My customers are always very satisfied and I do what it takes to keep them that way.

Scrapbook Fairy pages are very unique. Each page is made from the best quality papers, uses the most unique and appropriate embellishments, and is completely original. No two pages are exactly the same and even when I have requests for multiple copies of the same page, no two turn out quite the same because each is hand made by me. I don't use templates, scrapbook page kits, or computer based layout software. I start with a blank 12 x 12 in piece of paper and an idea in my mind. The rest comes along like magic!

All of my pages are made in a smoke-free environment. I make every page as though it was going to be placed into my personal album. Normally when I am finished with a layout I like it so much that I wish I could keep it for myself, but then I stop and think my customers will feel the same way.

Since every page is unique and hand made, it is very easy for me to custom design pages for my customers. My studio is equipped with everything I need. I incorporate sewing, paper piecing, tags, die cuts, stamping, inking, sanding, and very personal journaling (if requested) into my pages.
